WHAT TO EXPECT
WHAT’S A SUNDAY MORNING EXPERIENCE LIKE AT LIFE CHURCH?
At Life Church we want to see everyone take their next step in their relationship with God. You’ll see some signage and friendly faces directing you where to park. As you walk into the school, you’ll be greeted by some of our volunteers. Once in the school, you can register your kids at our Journey land check-in. At Life Church children worship with their parents and are released into Journey land (nursury-5th grade) to sing, laugh, listen, talk, create, pray and learn about the love of Jesus. We’re all about families at Life Church.
During the service you’ll have a chance to connect with others, worship through song and hear a message from the Bible.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
That’s totally up to you! We have people every week who wear anything from shorts and t-shirts to jeans and nice shirts to dresses and more business casual attire. Our goal is for you to feel welcomed and be comfortable, so whatever that looks like to you is great with us!
WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY KIDS?
Kids have a very important place here at our church. After worshiping with their parents, kids go to Journey land for age-appropriate Bible teaching (nursury-5th grade). Infants and toddlers start out in a loving and fun environment learning songs and Bible rhymes. Preschoolers have a fun Bible lesson, play games, and sing songs. Elementary kids have worship music, learn Bible lessons, and do small-group activities.
All of our activities are designed to build relationships between the kids and the volunteer staff and to ultimately build a relationship with God.
WHAT GOES ON DURING THE WEEK?
Weekends at Life Church are great, but we have lots of things that go on during the week! For adults, we have small groups that meet in homes throughout the Metro Louisville area. Our students meet every Sunday night with Fellowship Church at Portland Christian School.
